If each word means something more
Than you may ken
When you read each one
Know I loved to write them
I do write poetry and have written it for years. I just never tell anyone, or very rarely. It has been a personal thing and I am not so sure whether it is something I am especially good at, though I do enjoy it, especially the lines that leap to mind and I do not spend a huge amount of time worrying over; I am a great believer in poetry being instinctive and reactive.
So, maybe I should pen some more and put it out there.
