I know, I have been promising this forever, but It kept being pushed back because of more immediate work. But now I have recorded book one of Dirt as an audiobook and released it through Amazon, Audible and iTunes.

This has been a joy to do. And doing it myself (and I am a pro in this field) has allowed me to bring you the world and the characters as I have heard them in my head when writing the original books.

Because I am British, and a Londoner, All my characters reflect my own islands.

Weasel comes from Tepid Lakes, and that region of the world has a distinctly Scottish burr, though soft and warm, despite Weasel's frequent sarcasm.

Ice Dragons have a bit of a Yorkshire thing going on, while some Red Dragons (not all) could be mistaken for Welsh.

The Desert Dragons, a frequently loud and boisterous bunch, are very definitely London.

As is Wead-Wodder, the home of Johnson and Rustina Farthing, Barkles and Truk.  A real East End thing going on there.

And there are West Country voices and Irish voices, and, to break my own rule, one of the barmen sounds distinctly Aussie!

I hope you enjoy the first book and I will be adding the others here as they come along.

The Stink Is Here

North London, 1976. The longest, hottest summer on record. The water is running out and the kids hate their parents. Which bunch of idiots would think it is a good idea to start a band?
