I just like writing songs

I think I can say things with a song that I find harder with a poem. The music offers a feel and mood that I can use as part of the story. If the music is happy, the words sound less depressing.

A bit of Americana from the South East England

I wrote my first song in my teens or something. I have a vague recollection of it, but it is probably a good thing it has been forgotten.

Over the years I have written hundreds but probably only recorded forty or fifty. I have decided to get myself organised, write new, better songs, rearrange some of the old ones, and see if people like them.

Several are already up on YouTube and I am now working hard on ReverbNation.

Keep your eye on this page for news and links.
